This is a template I made for Google's Blogger service. The images, with the exception of the "Powered by Blogger" button and feed icon, are created by me.
The template code is available in a text file: [link]
This is the first template I've designed for public use, so comments/criticisms/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
The template is based off the template I use in my own blog, Perpetual Thursday. [link]
A few notes on use:
All of the images but the "Powered by Blogger" button are hosted on imageshack to facilitate easy of use (just copy and paste), however, if you would rather host them yourself, you can feel free to download them.
This template requires you to use "Classic" Blogger templates, but I hope to have a version for use with the new template system out within a week or so.
Everything is under a Creative Commons License, and you can use the template for whatever you want. However, when using the template you must include the "White Tree Template by Patrick J. Simmons" section in the footer. If you want to use the tree image outside of the template, ask me first.
Tools:
Dreamweaver 8
Paint.NET
EDIT: Made a slight change to the code to fix a W3C validation error (kind of silly, since Blogger causes somewhere around 33 errors once the template goes like anyway). Otherwise, nothing new.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
